We will set off at a leisurely pace into the forest of pine and juniper arriving to Tizi N’Tachet, from the top a panoramic view of Imlil and Azzaden valleys. Later, we stop for a picnic lunch and we continue toward Tiziane a small Berber Village. You will sleep sweetly tonight at an Amazigh guesthouse located in the deep part of the Atlas Mountains.

  • Day 2 : Tiziane - Tizi Taghrghourt - D’Kent

Ready yourself with the promise of spectacular views as we start the day with Berber breakfast and begin the climb toward Tizi Taghrghourt pass as we ascend through terraces of large walnut trees in the Assif n’Ouissadene Valley. The scenic view of the Azzaden valley is breathtaking as we reach the highest point of the Tizi Taghrghourt pass(1995m).

Afterward, you will notice the terrain changing into red, yellow, and grey rocks and soils landscape as we continue to the Assaka spring for a stop. We will enjoy a tasty lunch before heading down to D’kent Valley on a relatively easy hike that takes about 2 hours before we reach the D’Kent village . In this typical Berber Village we will spend the night in a guesthouse or a bivouac.

  • Day3 : D’Kent - Tizi N Tougdalt - Tamsoult

From our camp, we will hike across the uphill passing by a beautiful view of terraced fields and groves of walnut trees in the valley to reach the pass of Tizi N Tougdalt (2700m). From the forested slopes of Tizi N’Tougdalt we will descend through Juniper forest and break out of the tree line to meet our team where we will stop for lunch.

Later, our direction is the village of Tamsoult. We follow the track through mountain forest and along the Assif n’Ouissadene valley to reach the village of Tizi Oussem then we continue to the Tamsoult village where we set our camp.

It is an awesome hike with spectacular views! This evening we will stay in the Tamsoult village known as the summer village , enjoying the scenery and the delicious Amazigh fare.

  • Day4 : Tamsoult - Tizi N’Aguelzim - Toubkal refuge

This morning we’ll hike the Tizi N’Aguelzim (3650m) track, a spectacular zigzag path traced by mules. The hike is a bit difficult. We’ll enjoy lunch after our ascent, then it’s a descent to Toubkal refuge, our base for the next night.

You'll have time to meet different people from different places, all together here for one purpose climbing the Toubkal summit.

Later, you will descend the trail back down directly to Chamharouch Marabout for lunch, then you continue to Imlil village where you have two options: you stay for an extra night or you will be transferred to Marrakech that evening.
